Anytime Fitness Success Story - Elizabeth

ELIZABETH’S SUCCESS STORY!

My goal is to be healthy and fit. I am realistic enough to know that I am never going to look like a supermodel but I don't want to look like a candidate for the Biggest Loser either. The journey stared when I was in college. After I came back from Costa Rica I was not in a good place--I basically hibernated that winter. When spring came I knew I needed to make a change. So off to the gym I went. Once I had an exercise routine in place then I started to make changes to my diet and examine what I was putting in my body. I have managed to drop about 40 pounds and keep it off for about 4 years now.

I feel a lot better about myself after I work out. Sure, it is a struggle to get myself in the gym. In the winter, it kills me to bundle up and go out in the cold, but the alternative is feeling like a fatty.

My advice for others struggling to achieve their fitness goals would be to sign up for a group fitness class. You will be motivated to go simply because you don't want to waste the money. Boot Camp was really tough at first and I wanted to give up but I didn't want to just throw away the money I spent. Now I love it and I absolutely love the women I work out with.
